14 year old Milton Harvey (5ft, 95lbs) lived on at 1396 Nash Rd. NW with his mother Patricia Ellis and stepfather Roy Ellis, after moving from Leila Valley housing projects in 1973.
Harvey attended Harper High.
Milton Harvey was last seen at Citizens & Southern Bank on a yellow 10-speed bike at 3885 Old Gordon Road NW, approximately 3 miles away from home, taking a $100 check to pay a credit card bill. He had stayed home from school because his mother had bought the wrong shoes, and she was to buy another pair that evening.

A man working for a drilling company claimed to have seen 2 boys pushing a bike south just north of Fulton Industrial Blvd, around noon on 04 Sept 1979.
A week later, a neighbor found his bike beside a pine tree off Sandy Creek Rd, near Charlie Brown Airport.
A prisoner provided information on a 27 year old 6'3" suspect in the case who he said was a homosexual into handcuffs and whips and was capable of violence.

The skeletal remains of Milton Harvey were found somewhere off Desert Road at Redwine Road on the south side by a man picking up cans (in a garbage dump?).
His body was missing kneelength socks with stripes on top and blue sneakers. His cause of death was undetermined.
